Chapeltown's Young People's 10-2 Club (CYPC10-2) is a progressive Club for Young People aged 13-25, (living in the Chapeltown Area of Leeds/or living in the Leeds 6, 7 & 8 areas). Members of the Club are supervised by trained Youth Workers, Managers and Volunteers.
KEY WORK: Supporting Young People's development through referrals, volunteering opportunities, a range of community projects (Sports to Creative Arts), residential activity and offering general support or advice to Young People, including internet access and I.T training opportunities.
The Club networks with Leeds City Council (LCC), Connexions and Local Colleges and supports local Internet access points including Yes-Cyber Cafe, which provides after-school clubs.
The club is also involved in several projects to provide opportunities for young people including Leisure & Recreation, Media, Adventure playgrounds, Volunteering and Mentoring, Travel and Cultural Exchanges.
7-11 Club 2004: This is currently a pilot project, targeting 13-17 year olds. Older young people are welcome to attend as volunteers and/or mentors (see Chapeltown Volunteers on menu).
