Chapeltown Young Peoples Club

PROJECT 7 is a group of local young people 13-19 who have come together voluntarily to organise activities for other young people in the area (see below). Most training opportunities offer qualification in some form ie. completion of units towards the ASDAN Certificate in Community Volunteering. For further information, please contact us. PROJECTS / Adventure Playground:

• PROJECT 7 - Local young people 13-19 who have come together voluntarily to organise activities for other young people in the area. This is an organised team who meet regularly and play an active role. Their efforts are rewarded in terms of experience and certification. Young People who may adopt a mature attitude (usually 18-19 yrs) are welcome to join the group (See Contact page).
• Baby Fathers & Baby Mothers – Groups have formed in a bid to tackle some of the issues that face Mothers & Fathers.
• CYP10-2Club & PAC – An Arts Fair & Community debate is planned for late in 2004. If you are interested in joining or supporting this group or want to know more get in touch.
• New Adventure Playground – CYP10-2Club is very interested in seeing the area near Reginalds, which was previously used for the Adventure Playground (for those that can remember) become a newer Adventure Playground which Project 7 and other local young people/members can be consulted about. We are waiting to see what other plans or ideas the Council have.
