Introduction

The foundation of the project has always been its partnership basis; the three lead partners, Chapeltown Young People’s 10 – 2 Club, Thomas Danby College and the Leeds City Council (Youth Service) have all maintained their commitment to the Project and make broadly comparable contributions to the overall costs [please see Appendix 1]. Each partner brings a different dimension and is involved in different aspects of local, regional and national strategies and is able to access different funding streams. Partnership working is never easy, but its value is clearly recognised and reflected in co-financing and other collaborative bidding processes.
